I'm absolutely stuck. Maybe i'm entering the wrong search queries, but I can't seem to figure this out.

I've installed Amarok2 and can't migrate my old collection.

and I copied the username and password and mysql setttings from amarok1.4

all my music is in the same location. I can reinstall 1.4 and all my collection is still there.

sorry my last post wasn't very clear. I was very tired.

I click on settings/configure amarok/collection/import collection/amarok 1.4/mysql

I enter the username: amarok
password: password
Database name: amarok
Hostname localhost.

and next I either get a fatal error occured. " the application amarok crashed and caused the signal 11 (SIGSEGV). I click show details and it says nothing worth reporting.

OR

"Failed: No tracks were imported"

Have you checked http://bugs.kde.org for related bugs? It might be worth posting your own if there's nothing already there.
