Hi everybody,
I'm a new user a bit lost - I always used Itunes under OSX to manage my ipod, and once switched to linux I found your wonderful program... I've been able up to now to transfer mp3's to the ipod, and to create playlists. Disconnecting it I found not a trace of my playlist - until I discovered it at the end of the list (rather long list): I really need my playlists to stay in alphabetic order, there isnt any way to accomplish such a simple thing??? Thanks for any info... alessandro |

come on guys,
I do not pretend that a developer shows up saying he will take the matter into his hands... suffice it that somebody tells me if this thing is not implemented yet, or if I'm missing some obvious way to do it. I'd like to add that I'm not the 1st user reporting this (e.g. see http://amarok.kde.org/forum/index.php/t ... 765.0.html , also without answers...) alessandro |

I would have answered, but I'm not exactly sure what you're asking...

Is it possible to make Amarok sort (in any way) the playlists? When I detach the Ipod I found them unsorted - a surprising behavior if you ever used Itunes win/mac... alessandro |

Probably not with amarok 2 yet - it was possible in amarok 1 to re-order the lists, but saved playlist management in A2 is still a work in progress.
