whenever playing a flac file it will start playing at a random time. most of the time, they start playing between 0:15 and 0:40. this is very unfortunate when you are listening to hardcore or emo music where the tracks are between... 0:15 and 0:40 seconds.

most of my collection is in flac, so this is quite a pain. can I change amarok to use gstreamer? is there a particular xine-lib I should be using? I currently have 1.1.16.1.

please help :)

SOLVED:
after trying and failing a bit, using xine-lib 1.1.15-r1 proved to be a great success! :)
so I guess this has turned into a bug report regarding version 1.1.16.1.

xinelib 1.1.16.1 has a few known regressions (bugs). These are currently being worked on.
