I use an external hardrive for my music. Usually I rip my CDs on my Mac (OS X Leopard) to that drive and connect it to the linux box amarok runs on. Now amarok is not able to note that there are new files on it. I alway have to rescan my whole collection to have the new songs added to Amarok's database.

I have added the correct mountpoint in the preferences of Amarok and I have checked "Watch folders for change".

What goes wrong?
