Hey,
i actually have no clue if the points i tell you are listed somewhere else - but the forum is a little bit longe. So if - ignore it (more or less ^^). At first - thx for the nice music player. I switched to Linux and with this from winamp to amarok and i don't want to miss it *g* But still - some points i'd like to report and hope that those things get fixed soon. 0) The system i work on: Ubuntu 8.10 on an Acer Travelmate 5720G and Amarok 2.01 1) The Stop-Button. To stop playing a track i need to push it twice within a short time.... If i push it once, the track fades out - and restarts again. Why that?! 2) Random Mode or Shuffle Mode or whatever it is named when you play random titles (sry, i am german ) on your playlist. It happens randomly that amarok stops playing tracks. It finishes a track with 0 sec left, no more playing, but the play-button is still active. It is like it hangs in the last bit of the file or so. Dunno. But i have to stop playing and restart playing so that it continues to play. And after 3 min to x hours the problem occures again. Also not that great... 3) When i favour a song for last.fm and want it to be one of my loved songs Amarok gives the button for it - but for me nothing happens. The connection is there and Amarok streams my playlist to last.fm, but this button has no effect for me. I have to do in by myself on the last.fm - page. 4) Not a real bug - but it whould be great if you guys work on the database. Sure a great feature as it makes Amarok super fast, but sometimes my whole database gets corrupted and the ID3-Tags wont be read, most likely bc of moving folders within the Database-Folder. I have to delete the database file and reread it, which takes 10-15 minutes for me where i have to wait. Would be great if that could be fixed also some day. still, thx for the player guys! haqim. |
