I own a brand new Asus Eee PC, and so far the Amarok music manager has crashed four times in the space of two weeks!!! Surely this isn't normal (?).
Why doesn't it function properly? |

Sorry, you have to upgrade to the Premium version to remove the crashes. Please understand our position - we have to make a living somehow!

Ok, in all seriousness:
Some programs can and do crash. The versions of programs and libraries on the Eee tend to be very old, and many crashes that have been fixed are still present in those versions. The best answer I can give you is, install a better distribution on the Eee. For instance, see this: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EeePC |

That is certainly NOT normal! If you are using Amarok 2 then it should be crashing far more regularly! But seriously, I didn't think an Eee PC would be able to run Amarok as it is a pretty resource hungry app? If you do want to change your version of Linux you should also consider Mandriva. http://www.liliputing.com/2008/10/mandr ... 1000h.html
