Building Amarok 2.1svn doesn't work anymore since 2 days:

keep checking, it's being worked on at the moment. You could read the mailing list archives to see if there's an answer yet... http://mail.kde.org/pipermail/amarok/

Thanks for your reply. I've thought the problem perhaps is on my site with cmake or taglib. I'll check tomorrow again.

here it doesn't:

worked like a charm, thanks!

the 2.1 "splash screen" scared me at firts! but nice gimmick. keep up the great work

How come? We have not changed the splash screen yet from 2.0.x. versions.

didn't know how to name it, it's not a splash screen as in the "are you ready to amarok", i meant the blueish transparent layer which says "welcome to amarok 2.1" or something like that!

Oh, you mean the "First Run Tutorial" :)

This is actually still a very unfinished feature. The text will later change and is meant to explain the basics of Amarok usage. Also, it will probably have more than one page (maybe 3).
