First of all: Thank you guys for great Amarok2! I love it right away - even it has some bugs (crashes while clicking "Stop Playing"). But those bugs will be fixed in future releases - I'm convinced.
I'm really excited about the Jamendo-Plugin and use it as much I can. Great stuff! But I cannot find various artists inside Amarok I can find on Jamendo's website. When I click "Update/Download Jamendo-Database" it prints out about 8,000 albums. Compared with Jamendo's website which says that there are about 17,000 albums. Is there a way to fix it by myself or is it a (minor) bug in the recent stable version? I didn't check the current unstable version of 2.1.x. ama-ro(c)k, Bohne2k7 -- OS: openSUSE 11.0 Amarok-Version: 2.0.2-24.3 (from openSUSE-Repository) |

Hi
thanks for your nice words. Nice to hear you like Amarok 2. Stay tuned for Amarok 2.1. It will rock even more About your problem: I remember a bugreport about this in our bugtracker at bugs.kde.org. Maybe search for it and see if there is anything that can be done. Cheers Lydia |

You are right. The bug is nothing new.
Of cause I stay tuned for Amarok 2.1. Just saw some new features on CeBIT: Editing the layout of the Playlist *jeah*! Hopefully it will also be possible to search the collection by mp3tag 'comment'. |
