Hi, I just check out the svn source, and found the collection scan missed all .m4a aac files.
( revision 939529, Mar 15. Built on a 64-bit gentoo box with qt 4.5, kdelibs 4.2.1 ) I'm kind of bewildered because I remember Amarok 2.0.1 still handled my m4a files. And unfortunately I'm not skilled enough to check the codebase for myself... This is a list of feature I enabled in configure: kdelibs,mysql,zlib,strigi,libgpod,curl,libxml2, openssl or libgcrypt, gobject, Qt4 Glib support, glib2 And the feature miss are only: libmtp & loudmouth I found no libmp4v2 or any feature related to mp4 container, is that normal? And nor does the amarok bin link to libmp4v2. What should I try if I'd like to bring my m4a support back? Thank you, no matter I'm answered or not. Amarok is already the best jukebox around for me. ![]()

We've recently removed our custom TagLib plugins (temporarily), as they are planned to go into an extra package (like TagLib-Amarok or so). Please wait for that.
