Hi, I just check out the svn source, and found the collection scan missed all .m4a aac files.
( revision 939529, Mar 15. Built on a 64-bit gentoo box with qt 4.5, kdelibs 4.2.1 ) I'm kind of bewildered because I remember Amarok 2.0.1 still handled my m4a files. And unfortunately I'm not skilled enough to check the codebase for myself... This is a list of feature I enabled in configure: kdelibs,mysql,zlib,strigi,libgpod,curl,libxml2, openssl or libgcrypt, gobject, Qt4 Glib support, glib2 And the feature miss are only: libmtp & loudmouth I found no libmp4v2 or any feature related to mp4 container, is that normal? And nor does the amarok bin link to libmp4v2. What should I try if I'd like to bring my m4a support back? Thank you, no matter I'm answered or not. Amarok is already the best jukebox around for me.

We've recently removed our custom TagLib plugins (temporarily), as they are planned to go into an extra package (like TagLib-Amarok or so). Please wait for that.
