I just created this account. After setting the language in
http://amarok.kde.org/forum/index.php?a ... ea=account
to german a lot of text in the forum interface was gone and what's the wort problem:
The link to change it back is gone, too.
The only solution for me was to type the above address to the account settings and change the language to english. I was good at guessing, others might not be.

steps to reproduce:
Change the language to something other then english in
http://amarok.kde.org/forum/index.php?a ... ea=account
Leave this part (like go to home) and have fun finding out what all these empty strings are supposed to say.

This is not solved with logging out, since this language information is saved in a cookie. Deleting the cookie solves it as a guest, but logging in you have many empty strings again.

This is probably some error in the configuration of this forum where some texts are plain empty in the localisation.

I found a solution, but I want to post this for others and so it might get fixed.

EDIT:
As a side note: nothing is translated at all at the non-english settings. All the stuff that IS  visible, is english. So the solution might just be to disable this language option completely.

Just a thought... are you using a forum theme other than the default? I'm not sure whether language settings could be affected by different themes - trying to look into it at the moment.

I didn't change the theme. Its at
Current Theme: Forum or Board Default
This is the Oxygen them as I see it. The problem is the same when I change the theme to SMF Default.

The language setting I am talking about can be found at:
Profile->Account Settings (mouse over "Modify Profile")->Preferred Language
(or the link I posted).
