why can't amarok ever find the album cover?

the amarok music manager has never once located a single album cover ... when clicking on the blank cd cover, the music manager attempts to find a cover from amazon (?) of all places!
not surprisingly this also fails to yield any results ... whats going on here? |

You've not mentioned which version of Amarok you use in ANY of your complaints, however I'd strongly suggest checking for an update to 1.4.10.

the version came pre-installed with the PC ... the about music manager credits state: 1.4.3 (using KDE 3.4.2)
how do i install a better version? |
