Hi I've tried to compile the latest SVN and now it's necessary to install a mysterious package called qtscript-qt. I downloaded it from http://code.google.com/p/qtscriptgenerator/ but making generator doesn't work there's a missing file qdebug.h . I know that since it's now an external package you won't be interested in my post but I'm asking why . Before qtscript was integrated in the src of amarok and it was working well now we have to find and compile a package which is not documented .

qdebug.h is part of libqt4-devel. qtscript-qt are qt-bindings for scripts in amarok2. Don't know which distro you're using, but there exist packages for openSUSE in the BuildService.

I'm using Fedora Core 10, I installed the package called qsa which stands for Qt Script for Applications I also installed the devel package but I'm still not able to build the qtscript-qt sources downloaded on code.google.com . So I can't load any bindings in the scripts which means that almost all the scripts aren't working. If you have an idea about the name of the package I should install to make this work it would be great because I'm writing a script which needs SVN improvements of the API to work. Thanks.

Build errors would be fine. But I've build qtscript-qt without qsa. It doesn't depend on it, but on libqt4-devel as stated above PLUS libQtWebKit(-devel). You can try the src.rpm from http://download.opensuse.org/repositori ... .1.src.rpm. Perhaps this one will build, or at least will show which packages are missing.

Tried to edit the above post, but doesn't work. You know, that qsa is for QT3?

I'm sorry I've just remembered that I had to run qmake-qt4 instead of qmake in Fedora. Moreover it was necessary to export the environment variables because QTDIR is set to the qt3 dir by default . It's working well now.
