Amarok will not show me the option to select MySQL when I try to configure my collection - the screen has the folder tree and no drop-down window. I tried the deletions in the thread "[SOLVED] Delete Current collection" to get back to the first run wizard, because I am trying to get the option back to use MySQL instead of SQLite. (My collection is very large.) I can USE a database named amarok form the command line in MySQL, my mysqld daemon is running, so I think I have MySQL set up ok.

Also: when amarok starts, a popup window has this message:

ERROR:Amarok
URL cannot be listed
file:///home/

Can anybody help me? I've tried completely installing & reinstalling & purging amarok, kde, and MySQL with no joy.

Versions:
Amarok 2.0.2
Ubuntu 9.0.4
MySQL 5.1.30really5.0.75  (? that's what it says in package manager ?)

Amarok 2 already uses MySQL per default (the embedded server), so there is no need to change anything.
