Hi,
since yesterday my amarok stopped scrobbling songs. Also the test login does not work. It shows "testing" but that does not change... I didn't change any settings or login information. I found some people on last.fm who have the same problem since yesterday. Well I'm not sure if this is a problem in amarok but it would be nice if anyone could confirm this behaviour. Edit: I'm using amarok 2.0.2 on Kubuntu 9.04 Beta+ VLC still works.

amarok gives me this (I deleted the audioscrobbler url...)
amarok(6101) KNetworkAccessManager::createRequest: GetOperation: QUrl( "http://ws.audioscrobbler.com/2.0/?api_k................. ) amarok(6101) KNetworkReply::setMimeType: "text/xml" ":" QUrl( "" ) " |

There seems to be no problem with Amarok 1, I have a friend who is still scrobbling.

Same problem here, on 2.0.2, 2.0.1 & 1.4.
Can't do a test login, it just sticks. |

Same problem confirmed, Amarok 2.0.2 and the last build I had installed.
Ubuntu Jaunty. Last.fm forums seem to say there's something wrong with the way the request string is built. |

Same here Seemed to happened when I upgraded to kde 4.2.2 ? But this might not be related... I am on kubuntu juanty. It is not an network issue because the last.fm player works fine.

We have a bug report about this too (but no real insights so far):

Hope this gets fixed, getting annoyed with Banshee and can't build the svn version of amarok

Just wanted to add that this problem applies to 2.0.1 as well.

I doubt that this would help. |

Nope it didn't. Though i heard of some people installing the svn and scrobbling working again. |

After reading this I doubt that as well. At least that it's a solution for everyone.

Sorry but I don't know how to fix it - could someone explain it to me?
