I've been using Ubuntu 8.04 for the past few months, really like it so far except that I can't find a satisfactory music player.  I've tried all and like Amarok the best but I can't install 2.0.2.

I get version 1.4 if I install from the "Add/Remove" menu, and version 1.92.2 if I add

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-members-kde4/ubuntu hardy main

to my repositories and then install amarok-kde4

Is there anyway to get 2.0.2?  I think I'm missing something simple here.

Thanks...

enjoy the music!

You can get 2.0.1.1 on Kubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid), but not on Hardy, if you follow these instructions:

http://www.kubuntu.org/news/amarok-2.0.1.1
