Amarok has been great and works out of the box for my classic ipod. I have version 1.4 installed in Ubuntu 8.10. I just bought an ipod shuffle 3rd generation and can't transfer any playable music to it. I don't seem to get any pop up errors. Has anybody else had any problems with this?

I have the same problem...
Yesterday i've bought new ipod shuffle, but i still can't use it via my Kubuntu laptop.
None of the existing ways to sync music on this ipod isn't efficient  yet.
I tried to use Floola, Itunes via wine, gtkpod, rhythmbox and so on...
I thought that amarok instruments is the best to sync ipod and i hope that device support appears soon.
