Hi all,

I saw many messages in different forums about "Amarok2 skips tracks". This was also a reason why some people doesn't use Amarok.

The source of this problem is in the "Now playing applet". The bug was fixed, but it wasn't backported to KDE4.2 yet.
See revision 937561: http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&revision=937561
Just be aware of it.

Actually, it should be fixed in KDE 4.2.2 already. At least that's what the author (Alex Merry) of this Plasmoid told us.

I use 4.2.2 from Debian - it's not fixed now. KDE "4.2" branch SVN doesn't have this fix also.
I've posted a request for backporting to bugs.kde.org.

I am using KDE 4.2.4 and Amarok 2.1 on Kubuntu 9.04, and the problem does still occur.
