I used for long time Amarok 1.x on Gentoo, about month ago switched to kubuntu 8.10 on new machine and installed Amarok 2.x. Although I realised month later that listened tracks hadn't been send to lastfm.
That was caused by known problem with session keys, I tried install amarok-nightly from ubuntu neon repository(didn't change anything) and build svn version(after hour of compiling amarok didn't run saying something about not proper prefix and suggessting to 'make uninstall' and use again kde4-config. I did everything step by step from manual to build amarok in home directory so decided to downgrade to 1.4.10. Now scrobbler works, but I have another problem. I know that if I'm listening music offline amarok keeps this info and sends it later. So does it keeps also info about all tracks from last month I played ? Is it KDE session related or storred in some file ? I thought Amarok 1.x will use old configs and upload it but didn't. If in future I will upgrade to 2.x with working scrobbler will it send those old data? Is it a way to do this manually? |

Scrobbling is fixed in 2.1-beta1.

Scrobbling works, BUT Amarok 2 doesn't cache played songs yet.

What does "yet" mean? Is this already planned for a future release? Thanks for info |
