Panels/Panes not showing

Tue Apr 21, 2009 5:20 pm
I am using Fedora 10 and KDE w/ Amarok 2.0.2

After upgrading to Fedora 10 and Amarok 2.0.2, Amarok's GUI lost most of its functionality.

Although the buttons are evident, (play, stop etc..)

No other panes show up, they are not empty of information, just gray unremarkable areas.

I've removed and reinstalled but I still cannot overcome this.

Ideas?

This can happen when you still have old configs from Amarok 1.x around. Make a backup, then delete them:

rm -rf $HOME/.kde/share/apps/amarok
rm -rf $HOME/.kde/share/config/amarok*
