My IPOD connects fine via the file manager and even shows up within amarok with the Media Devices applet. The problem is that it does not actually show up as a collection. Clicking any of the icons in the Media Devices applet does nothing. Any suggestions?

Maybe once the nightlies hit jaunty I will be able to do more. The only reason I went to jaunty was to fix a nagging graphics problem in KDE.

I'm having the same problem. I don't really get the media devices widget anyway. Is it supposed to add the device as a collection when I click the green plus? Eject when I hit the red? None of it does anything for me, and the icons are horrific.

iPod (6th gen, video) works just fine on Sabayon (Gentoo) using Amarok2-SVN (Built yesterday).
So long as you have libgpod installed, and the iPod is mounted successfully it shouldn't be a problem. I don't know how Amarok handles iTouch and iPhones, but anything previous should work just fine. |

I'm having the same problem with a 2^ generation Ipod nano (Kubuntu Jaunty, amarok 2.1 beta 1 installed via kubuntu-experimental PPA) . No collection and clicking on the Media device applet does nothing...
The Ipod worked fine with amarok 2.0.2. |
