I am considering making a switch from Windows XP to Ubuntu 9.04 but I have heard claims that iTunes doesn't work on Ubuntu. I was suggested to use Amarok as my media player instead and I want to make sure everything will work correctly when I use it.
Will Amarok sync my music with my iPod Touch 2g? What about a 1g? I really want to know because iTunes is the only thing keeping me from wanting to make the OS switch.

Itunes is only built for windows and macs that's why it doesn't work.
