I have Kubuntu 9.4 and some version of Amarok 2.0.90. No lyrics work for me. First is says "No lyrics script is running.", but when i try to activate any lyric script (like goo) i have an error: Sorry, there are exceptions caught in the script... please refer log...
What should i do? |

Hello
I think you need to compile amarok with qtscriptgenerator: http://code.google.com/p/qtscriptgenerator/ |

hmm... Can you tell me the name of the said package? Because I couldn't find one, so I installed it from the source.
Btw there is a good tutorial here: http://www.uluga.ubuntuforums.org/showt ... ?p=7046342 (step 13, without the patch ) |

I thought the amarok version in the Jaunty repositories was 2.0.2... The 2.0.90 version is the 2.1beta available on the website. Am I wrong?

Hi i'm using amarok nightly and since the last update some of the scripts have stopped working (lyrics as well). The message is "there are exceptions in the ...". If anybody could help me solve this problem that would be great.
Thanks in advance. And by the way I really love Amarok 2, I couldn't even think of going back to the (excellent) 1.4! |

You obviously run Amarok from the experimental PPA, where you can also find the qtscriptbindings package. Installing it should do the trick.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
