can't play music

my system is ubuntu 9.04,i installed amarok2 from synaptic.but when i press the
play button,it play all the music in a second and without sound ,on the collapse of several multi-point,how to  solve this problem?I reload several times, but it doesn't work.

You have to install the necessary codecs and use the Xine backend in Phonon.
The mp3 codecs for Ubuntu are in the libxine1-ffmpeg package.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

i installed them ,after update,it can play music now
