Hi all, I just upgraded to Ubuntu 9.04, and with it came Amarok 2... I love the new look, and it plays songs just fine that are stored locally on the HDD, but on my home machine I run gnump3d to stream some tunes to work, I can simply click a link and download a .m3u playlist. With the old Amarok it played it just fine, with Amarok 2 it will not play the song. I am able to run iftop through an ssh pipe on the home box and verify that it IS transferring the song, but amarok just isn't playing it
The entries in the playlist look like this: #EXTINF:171,1 - Artist - Album -SongName [Genre - Duration / FileSizeInMb ] http://myserver:myport/folder/mySong.mp3 Any help would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance. edit: if necessary I can give a dev my home server information if that is required to help diagnose the issue. edit2 for clarification: Amarok thinks it's playing a song, as in when I right click the song it thinks it's playing I can choose to pause it, and if I right click on a different song from the playlist from my server I can choose to "play" it, but I never hear any sound. Again, I can verify that the song is being transmitted, amarok just refuses to play it back and all I hear is silence. edit3: output of apt-cache policy amarok: amarok: Installed: 2:2.0.2mysql5.1.30-0ubuntu3 Candidate: 2:2.0.2mysql5.1.30-0ubuntu3 Version table: *** 2:2.0.2mysql5.1.30-0ubuntu3 0 500 http://mirror.cs.umn.edu jaunty/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

I just removed amarok 2 and went back to 1.4, though I'd still be interested in hearing a fix.
