Last.fm won't work

Sat May 02, 2009 1:51 pm
Whenever I type in my name and password from last.fm and press test login it just says testing... and the nothing, and if I press ok it doesn't work.

I'm using ubuntu 9.04 and amarok 2.0.2

I believe this is a known bug. You might want to install the new beta for 2.1, last.fm will work and I didn't experience any major bug so far.

Just add the experimental-repositories to your sources:

Code: Select all
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-experimental/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-experimental/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main

Then get the new amarok and remove them afterwards, otherwise you will get more unstable software/beta versions that might harm your system. But amarok works fine!
