I'm using Amarok Version 2.0.2 Using KDE 4.2.2, on Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty)
Can't find the engine I'm using, but it'll be the default one. When I search for a song in a playlist, then add it to the queue, Amarok actually adds the song that would be in that position of the playlist if I hadn't entered anything in the search bar. For example, if I had a playlist with The Smashing Pumpkins first two albums: 1. "I Am One" (Corgan, James Iha) – 4:07 2. "Siva" – 4:20 3. "Rhinoceros" – 6:32 4. "Bury Me" – 4:48 5. "Crush" – 3:35 6. "Suffer" – 5:11 7. "Snail" – 5:11 8. "Tristessa" – 3:33 9. "Window Paine" – 5:51 10. "Daydream"/"I'm Going Crazy"– 3:08 1. "Cherub Rock" – 4:58 2. "Quiet" – 3:41 3. "Today" – 3:19 4. "Hummer" – 6:57 5. "Rocket" – 4:06 6. "Disarm" – 3:17 7. "Soma" (Corgan, James Iha) – 6:39 8. "Geek U.S.A." – 5:13 9. "Mayonaise" (Corgan, Iha) – 5:49 10. "Spaceboy" – 4:28 11. "****" – 8:43 12. "Sweet Sweet" – 1:38 13. "Luna" – 3:20 And I then entered "Siamese Dream into the search bar, and right clicked on Geek USA and added it to the queue, then deleted the search string, the song that would be in the queue would actually be Tristessa. makes sense, but have you checked 2.1b to see whether it still happens?
