I currently dual boot Windows and Ubuntu, with my music library residing in the music folder of my Windows parition. I would like to keep the music there, but play through Amarok.

I am able to add the collection into my library on Amarok by selecting the proper folder, but whenever I click on a song to play nothing happens. I know I have read/write permissions for the NTFS partition because I have copied over files in the past.

I am new to both Ubuntu and Amarok so have patience with me!

It seems to be an Amarok-specific problem because I can use the same setup with Rhythmbox and it works just fine.
