I have installed Amarok 2.0.2 and in the playlist it is cutting of each track by about 3 - 4 seconds.

I have no idea why this is happening.  I am using the Xine engine but same problems.

I a using other players such as Rythmbox, Audacious, Exaile with no problems.

I am almost ready to give up on Amarok .. seems too buggy,

If you mean do I start it from clicking on an icon in the menu bar up the top ... yes.
