Is there any way to get an applet for new additions to your music library in amarok 2?  I'm using version 2.0.2, Ubuntu 9.04.  In the previous version of amarok that I was using before upgrading , new library additions, I believe the 4 most recent, were displayed in the context menu.  I did a little googling but couldn't manage to find anything.  It would be great if it were a little more configurable than in the previous amarok, i.e. the ability to set the number of recent additions displayed.  Thanks!

This function is on their TODO list as far as I know. Until then you can use the search bar with added:<3d for showing additions of the last 2 days, as an example.

That doesn't seem to be working for me.  Good to know they're working on it, though!

Strange, that it doesn't work for you.
With this method you can search for tracks added 2 min, 5 days ago, f.e. Really nice feature.
Consider updating to 2.1-beta.
