Hi,

I recently installed amarok 2.0.60+svn935422-2 from Debian experimental repository. I installed it on three different systems and all have the same problem.

My collection is correctly scanned (audio files AND images), but the covers are not accessible from within amarok. My collection is organised this way :
  /path/to/music/dir/artist/year - album/track_name
  /path/to/music/dir/artist/year - album/front.jpg

The collection scanner is actually scanning the pictures.

The file ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/mysqle/amarok/images.MYD is empty (I think the path to images are stored into this file).

I can add a custom cover to an album from the UI, then the file images.MYD gets populated, but this is a manual operation...

I've tried deleting my ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok and ~/.kde/share/config/amarokrc and rebuilding the whole collection without success.

I've search for known issues, workarounds, bug reports, threads on this forum and others but nothing.

I don't think this is a bug, otherwise I would have found something on the web, I'd really like to have my covers back... I someone could help me...

This is a strange version number, even for Debian. What should 2.0.60 mean? Can you please post, what shows up on Help->About Amarok.
The svn version number is also about 30,000 behind a recent one like 967107.

The version from the about dialog is "2.1-SVN (Debian 2.0.60+svn935422-2)". 935422 is the only SVN reference, I guess it corresponds to amarok's one.
The Debian package was built on Fri, 06 Mar 2009, which is quite old now. I quickly browsed the KDE websvn (but am a little lost in it) and found a SVN revision 933856 for version 2.0.2 which is two months old, and a revision 950338 for version 2.0.90. This could confirm the version 2.0.60 and revision 935422, even though no 2.0.60 tag was created.
