Hello everyone,
I highly appreciate the moodbar feature to navigate through tracks to find a given moment. However, I'm suddenly having this strange bug : The moodbars are calculated properly, they can be displayed in a playlist column and also show in the tooltip over Amarok's tray icon, but *no longer* in Amarok's status bar/track slider (bottom right-hand corner)... where it's actually the most useful ! All I see is the track's current position mark on a blank background, instead of the moodbar colored one. And no, I can't remember what changed between the moment it worked and now (except maybe some gstreamer updates ?). I tried activating/deactivating moodbar options in Configuration/General, but no avail. Has anyone encountered (and hopefully solved) this small bug before ? Output of amarok --version : Qt: 3.3.8b KDE: 3.5.10 Amarok: 1.4.10 |

So, has anyone an idea about the source of this problem ? I had a look at http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/Moodbar, but troubleshooting is mostly about calculating moddbars, not displaying them.
I also noted the following : it seems that the moodbar is actually displayed, but offset so much to the bottom of the screen that only the top of the in-track position slider is visible. BTW, I'm using Mandriva 2009 Spring. |
