I have two OS on my system, windows and fedora. Whenever I go to windows, and restart and come back to fedora, amarok rescans my whole collection. But when I just shutdown and start again in fedora (without goint into windows), amarok just updates the collection which is much much faster.
It takes about 5 minutes to scan my whole collection, which the hard drive load caused by the rescan nearly knocks me out of using any other application. How can I fix this?
