Okay, I'm not sure if this is a regression or if I'm just being stupid or blind...

In 2.0.x, it was easy to create an hierarchical structure buy just creating subfolders in the view. I.e. Compilations, and under that 80's, 90's and so on.

That doesn't seem to be possible in 2.1. Every new folder I create end up in the top-level and it's not possible to drag it anywhere else either. Are you supposed to still be able to do create subfolders? And if not, why not?
