Please, I need a little help from my friends.

First of all, sorry about my english. I'll try to explain myself the best way I can.

I installed Kubuntu 9.04 that comes with Amarok 2.0 installed on it.
So I scanned my library, but when I try to play any music, the playback seems ok, like the music is playing, but there is no sound.

I'm using the phonon-backend-xine and phonon-backend-gstreamer is not installed.

Banshee, Mplayer, Exaile and other playback the musics normally.

Somebody Help me :'(

Check if libxine1-ffmpeg isn't already installed, that solved the problem for some people.

Could you start amarok through the terminal (command line) and paste the output here?

Hello Infinito,

Thank's for your reply.

Yes, the libxine1-ffmpeg is already installed.

Here is the output of the amarok using comand line. I started amarok three times, normal mode,  with the --debug flag, and debug mode, and in the third time, I've played a music.

I've sending this output attached, because the 2K char Forum limit.

Hello,

New informatio. It works correctly on Ubuntu. Only on Kubuntu the problem happens.

Make sure nothing is muted in Kmix... and do not use Pulseaudio in KDE, it doesn't work with Xine

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

Hello Mamarok, thank's for your reply.

Nothing is muted on Kmix, I'm using Banshee while I(We :D) solve this problem. And I'm really not using pulseAudio, it is the last of my prefered devices, on system configuration.

try the following: remove the ~/.kde/share/config/phonondevicesrc and restart KDE.

Hello Mamarok,

I've removed the file and restarted KDE, but unfortunately, same situation...:'(
Probably, might be some problem with the phonon backend, because when I logon on Gnome, on the same machine, Amarok works normally...
