hi
I've searched the forum and found nothing that could help, so here is the thing. yesterday I installed linux mint 7 ("gloria") that is in some part based on ubuntu jaunty. with it I got amarok 2 in repositories to install, and I am sorry to say that, but I really don't like amarok 2. I am not saying it sucks - just I dislike it. I found many sites over internet, how to install older amarok, 1.4, that worked perfectly on my previous system, so here is one how-to-do it, that I've seen on at least 10 pages and manuals: http://nomad.ca/blog/2009/apr/3/amarok- ... buntu-904/
but, it isn't working for me, because when I try to do update, I get
I tried also something different: downloaded deb packages from https://launchpad.net/~bogdanb/+archive/ppa, chose amarok - 2:1.4.10-0ubuntu3~ppa3 but could only install amarok-common, not the xine and other one so my question is, do you have any idea what may be going wrong, and second: is there any other way to install old amarok? thank you. |
