Hi all,
using amarok 2.1, what are the actions to be taken from amarok to manage the music library of my android, as is the case with devices such iPod or Creative Zen? thank you for your support

As far as I know you don't manage it through Amarok, its a seperate function. You can mount your Android as a mass storage device and just copy your music over to your sdcard in, for example, a folder called Music although it really doesn't matter where on your sdcard you put it, the Music app will find it and add it to your collection. The Zen and Ipod cannot be mounted in mass storage mode (for the purposes of adding music) so there is a seperate function (libgpod/libipod and libmtp, respectively)
Also, just because this drove me nuts when I first started using my G1, the only way to get album art is if you embed the art into the files ID3v2 tag which is really easy to do using kid3 under kde (any version). bytesniper |

thank for the hints,
but why amarok handles the "difficult" things (libgpod/libipod and libmtp) and not the simplest things like a library in a USB storage? don't you think would not be nice to have a dedicated section like the "Local Collection" just to manage the Android Library with the Amarok interface?
