Hey all,
After getting everything all setup after a fresh install I upgraded to Amarok 2.1. Since then whenever I've tried to play any music files, Amarok skips through all the songs on the playlist pretty damn fast, and without any sound. I can get sound through my browser, and other media players. Amarok is the only program with issues I've encountered so far. |

Tried these?:
"sudo apt-get install libxine1-ffmpeg" Make sure phonon is using xine as a back end make sure nothing is muted in kmix |

Excellent post - thanks I've been without sound now since Amorak 2 installed on Jaunty.
Can't the libxine1-ffmpeg dependency be added to synaptic? eg, so following works: deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/backports/ubuntu |

This doesn't depend on us, we only provide the tarball, it's up to the distribution to provide packages and link dependencies. So you should talk to the Kubuntu developers instead.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
