First, why does the search facility on this forum want words with a minimum of 3 characters? It makes it impossible to search for "Amarok 2 search problem", for instance.

My real problem tho is, naturally, an Amarok 2 search problem. When I enter "Bach" in the "search collection" box, it only finds those entries in the Jazz and India (Bachchan) genres. It finds none in the "Classical" genre, which is where most of Bach is, after all.

Yikes, worse yet. I just noticed that all the genres for my classical files are blank in the "edit track details" window. And yet, they are listed under genre "Classical" in the collection list.

This  is weird. How do I go back to Amarok 2.0?

What gives? Help, please.

Btw, I'm running Amarok 2 as installed by Adept in Kubuntu Jaunty.
