amarok wont find vinyl albums

hi all
i just installed pclos 2009.1 on my aao and it came with amarok 1.4.4 i think and i have a massive collection of vorbis files most are ripped off vinyl and amarok wont add the vinyl rips to the collection all cd rips are fine... please help

Wtf is an aao? Your screenname suggests an Acer One.
pclos 2009.1 comes with 1.4.10. Check by Help->About.
Software used to rip off vinyl? Same as ripping from CD?
Structure of collection?

Have you checked the meta tags of the vinyl rips?
