I just upgraded to Ubuntu which included Amarok 2.1.1 (I have the KDE package installed as well as GNOME). Since then I haven't been able to listen to my music using Amarok and have had a couple of problems.

1) All songs appear to be 0kb and have a length of 0:00 and will not play. MP3's play normally using other players.

2) Every time I start Amarok it rescans my entire collection. Since my collection is very large and partially on an external disc, this takes a very long time. Why won't Amarok remember what is in my collection?
