Excuse me for my poor english.
I'm using openSUSE 11.1 with kde 4.2 and amarok 2.1.1. There is a problem with the latter : I have some music files tagged with japanese ideograms which worked well with the 1.4 version. The problem with Amarok 2.1.1 (and all the 2. versions) consist in the fact the player forgets the most part of these files building the collection whereas it can show the right ideograms with the files it has indexed. Le remainder is forgotten and amarok trade the right japanese tag for some "?". These files has been working well for years so I would enjoy to know where is the problem from.
