Hi,

I'm an absolute beginner with Ubuntu and I've just downloaded Amarok. It's just finished compiling all my music and I have tried to play some of my mp3s and it looks as though it is going to play but skips every track without playing any of them and they appear in the "last played" column. What can I do to stop the skipping and start listening to tunes?!

Also, I have had a problem with the codecs/plugins on rhythmbox, would this be effecting amarok?

I have fixed this problem now, thanks. It was because I hadn't updated ubuntu, once I had done this I could download the plugins and it works now.
