Hi all,

I am new to amarok... i have been used to windows media player....

ok when i use WMP, i have a list of all my musics.... then i can create a new playlist called 'good', then while i play all my music and i hear a song which is nice, i can right click on the track and then add to playlist 'good'.

however i have difficulty to do this in amarok... can someone enlighten me how should i do it?

Click on save playlist icon in the right pane, while it is still empty. Call it "Good" or "Favorites" or whatever you want.
Add your music.
Now you can add songs to your saved playlist by dragging it.
But context menu would be nice, too.

i try to drag to my playlist, but it does not allow me to add to that playlist.... i dont know why....

Unfortunately you didn't announce your version of Amarok.
I've added a screenshot. Don't be irritated, it's from version 2.2svn, but should work in 2.1, too.

hmmm ok....

my version was 2.  after that i install the latest version 2.x and now it works... i can drag and add.... but previously it cannot, i dont know why... hmm
