all i did was add goo goo dolls into my collection and this is what happened...
another request is that you give us an option to know the size of collection in the library...because its hard to determine if all my collection would fit into my 30GB Ipod... and also if the ipod disk gets full...i continously keep getting a dialog box saying that "this file is not copied because the disk is full..." the problem is that i get that for each and every track...now suppose about 1000 tracks were not copied...i would get 1000 dialog boxes saying like "file kpod11328329 could not be copied because disk is full" thats really annoying it would be better if i get ONE message that "some files could not be copied because disk is full".... |

Seems to be the same problem I've been having with Amarok 2, ever since it's become stable enough to be of any use - until this bug shows up and turns parts of my collection into an utterly confused mess.
Since 2.1.1 still hasn't solved this for me, I just filed a bug report here. |

Don't panic, this is a database error. Just remove the ~/kde/share/apps/amarok/mysqle/ folder (which will erase your ratings and statistics also, btw) and rescan the collection.
FWIW, this is solved in current 2.2-SVN.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
