So, I just installed Ubuntu Jaunty (from Edgy) and passed from Amarok 1.4 to 2.1

It looks great and everything but...
What happened to managing iPod playlists?

Anyway, to my problem:
Everytime I try to pass a song to my ipod, i get a message saying "Malformed URL". This even formated my ipod when Amarok crashed... so I have no music, and I can't pass them back in... and lost all of my playlists that I can't manage anymore!

I keep trying, I've got libgpod 0.7 installed, even tried with libgpod-nogtk but nothing.

Any help?

Hey,
I recently had this problem with a newly bought ipod, for my instance though it turned out the directory structure had not been setup, this was discovered by using gtkpodder, upon starting it informed me that the device folder structure had not been setup and offered to set it up for me after selecting the correct model.  This also makes sense as "malformed url" suggests that it is not able to access the correct directory address.

This was for my instance at least, if it is not a new ipod I believe you would need to investigate the issue that it is not able to copy to what it believes is the correct directory path.  An error in structure or permissions?  Anyway hope that helps.
