Kubuntu 9.04, KDE 4.3, Amarok 2.1
There are some small things I am wondering about and hope that someone can help me figure out. First of all - I would like to click through songs in the local archive without having the songs added to the playlist, just played. I like surfing the archive just to check out songs and if it fits, I would like to just right click and add to playlist. Also, I would like to have the songs I am clicking on added to a "Last played" dynamic playlist. A friend of mine did this: Invite some friends over, have a nice evening browsing the archive and at the end you have a playlist with the songs that you have been listening to that evening. He used WinAmp Another small thing: Earlier, Amarok would let me add songs to the playlist without interrrupting the current song playing. Now it starts playinng immediately if I add a new song. How do I change that? I mentioned in another thread that Amarok sometimes don't want to automatically play the next song. A reboot sometimes fixes it, but not always. Radio: I love Shoutcast! But some of the stations seems to put out a signal that messes up Amarok. If I change to a station like that and then try to play another one that was working a few seconds ago, all I get is silence. Sometimes I can fix this by playing a track from the local archive, sometimes I have to reboot. Is there a PPA for Amarok so I can get the latest release?
