I've recently changed to using linux and Amarok. Before that I used MediaMonkey on windows.

In mediamonkey I had filters set up that split my library into Music, Audiobooks and OSTs.

Currently all my audiobooks, music and osts are in separate directories.

Is there a way to split up the media files in Amarok?

So that when I do searches and dynamic playlists searching for music, audiobooks and osts won't be returned.

If that's not possible, how can I remove all my audiobooks from amarok?

Could you please describe the structure of your collection on your disk.

Music-
          |
          OST
        Audiobooks
        Tracks
?

If yes, simple deselect the folders containing OSTs and Audiotracks.
In later versions you will have the ability to create different collections.
