Amarok 2.1.1 crashes at start up without any indication of what is wrong if /var/tmp is full.  Please see my bug report

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=541128

this is how the crash can be reproduced

:; rm -r /var/tmp/kdecache-$USER
:; cat /dev/zero > /var/tmp/junk
cat: write error: No space left on device
:; amarok -debug

(bug-buddy:2262): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_x11_atom_to_xatom_for_display: assertion `atom != GDK_NONE' failed
<unknown program name>(2259)/: Communication problem with "amarok" , it probably crashed.
Error message was: "org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply" : " "Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)" "

I'm using Gnome and Debian unstable package for Amarok version 2.1.1-4

This seems to be a bug in kpixmapcache, so not directly related to Amarok. Could you maybe file a bug on https://bugs.kde.org against kpixmapcache?

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
