Hi! I am using Amarok 2.02 on Ubuntu 9.04 64bit
and although all the volume sliders are at max the music (mp3s) sounds like being at about 50% compared to other players or system sounds. As far as I can tell this has something to do with the output driver\plugin Amarok uses. I am new to the Linux universe so please give me step by step instructions on how to fix this. Thank you! |

Make sure that all the channels in Kmix are set correctly. Kmix can be accessed with a right click on the speaker icon in the systray section of the panel.
FYI, Amarok doesn't handle sound itself, but lets phonon do it, so this is more likely a problem in your sound settings. You can access the sound settings in the System settings -> Multimedia section.

FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
