Until a few days ago I was able to get album covers in amarok through the use of the amazon link. Now all I get is a window with the message
"Amazon Locale: You have seen all the covers Amazon returned using the query below. Perhaps you can refine it." This is all one gets even for searches that were successful in the past. Perhaps this has to do with the enforcing since Aug 15 of the new Amazon aws API registration policy (which I actually subscribed)? In that case how should one implement such a registration in the query for cover art in amarok? |

One of our developers just changed cover fetching from Amazon to Last.fm because of this. It will be in Amarok 2.2.

I have installed the nightly from today on windows. Does the cover fetch work already? Because here it seems not to work.

I guess on Windows it is linked with another problem, specific to that platform: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=183178
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Yes, Mamarok, you're right. Even the wikipedia articles are shown without any pictures.

Sorry, but your comment is pointless, since he uses Amarok 2 on Windows...
